PRESS RELEASE: NIKON ANNOUCES THE ADDITION OF DR. WARREN STRICKLAND TO ITS FIELD RECON TEAM
Dr. Warren Strickland is a name recognized around the hunting world and Nikon is proud to have him as a member of its team. Dr. Strickland, a cardiologist by profession, and a passionate bowhunter by choice is a perfect addition to the Nikon family.
THE 10th ANNUAL WILEY MEMORIAL/AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ARCHERY 3D SHOOT:
Last Memorial Day weekend was not a time of rest for more than 300 shooters who took part in the 10th annual David Wiley, Sr. Memorial Heart Shoot! The two-day tournament was hosted by the Foundation and Wiley Outdoor Sports, and was held May 24-25 at the farm of Warren Strickland. The event raised $32,673 and the money will be used to purchase transport monitors for the Cardiac Catherization Lab. Thanks to everyone who made this tenth anniversary event such a special one! MEMBER OF GORE FIELD STAFF TO SHAPE FUTURE OF HUNTING IN ALABAMA: Warren Strickland appointed to Hunting Advisory Board
Governor Bob Riley has appointed Warren Strickland to serve on the Alabama Conservation and Natural Resources Advisory Board. The appointment becomes effective May 21, 2005 and will carry a six-year term.

Ashley took her seventh Pope and Young Whitetail in SouthWest Kansas. This deer was taken with traditional equipment at a distance of 22 yards. It traveled only 80yards after a double lung shot. The bow used was a 59 Bear Kodiak with a draw weight of on 44pounds.
